Description

Scena is a sans-serif typeface crafted with a broad range of styles and proportions, making it equally suitable for extended text and large-scale display applications.

The design began with a simple sketch exploring lowercase letters with bottom loops. From this concept, we developed both normal and wide character sets.

Our initial focus was on the Slanted styles, but as we explored various graphic applications, it became clear that expanding the range to include Roman styles was essential to fully capture Scena’s expressive potential.

The original characters are preserved as Stylistic Sets 2, 3, and 4, while the default set was refined and simplified of certain eccentric features.
