Description

Rumba was the project developed during Laura Meseguer’s period at the Postgraduate Type and Media at the KABK in The Hague, 2003/2004.

It consists of three fonts based on the same model, but with varying contrast, construction and degrees of expressiveness. It comes with several alternative characters, special ligatures and all the characters needed for the languages based on the Latin alphabet, which makes Rumba a multilingual typeface family, suitable for a lot of purposes. The family consists of Rumba Small for short texts, Rumba Large for headlines and Rumba Extra, when a flavour of hand-lettering is called for.
